Hello! My name is Shyla. I’m from the lovely city of Nanchang in China and currently living in London. My academic background is in Communication, and my passion for education began when I volunteered to help children learn — an experience that deeply shaped who I am today. That’s why I’m now pursuing my master’s degree in Education.

I truly enjoy getting to know my students — hearing their stories, encouraging them to express themselves confidently, and celebrating every bit of their improvement. Teaching Chinese has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life over the past three years, as I’ve had the privilege of working with learners from many different countries and cultures.

In my classes, I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive, and interactive space where you can learn at your own pace. Every lesson is personalized according to your goals, interests, and learning style — whether you want to master daily conversation, improve pronunciation, or explore Chinese culture more deeply.

To me, language learning isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s about communication, connection, and real-life application. My aim is to help you speak Chinese naturally and confidently in authentic situations.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy singing, swimming, photography, and spending time with friends.
