About Me
Hi, I’m Emily, and I’ve been studying Japanese for three years! Throughout my learning journey, I’ve explored many different study methods, so I understand how challenging — and rewarding — learning a new language can be. Whether you’re just starting out or getting back into your Japanese studies, I’m here to help you find the approach that works best for you.

With an ongoing degree focused on teaching and Japanese, along with over two years of tutoring experience, I bring both academic and practical knowledge to my lessons. So far, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching 17 students, helping each one progress at their own pace.

My Teaching Approach
Everyone learns differently, and I tailor each lesson to suit your individual learning style. We’ll explore various techniques such as conversation practice, grammar exercises, and interactive activities. I also create custom worksheets and visual materials to make learning more engaging and effective.

What to Expect in a Trial Lesson
During our first session, we’ll identify your goals, test out different learning activities, and create a personalized study plan that fits your needs. You can follow a structured path such as JLPT N5 or N4 preparation, or we can focus on specific topics and grammar points that interest you most.
