Hello! I’m Anne, and I come from Northern Finland. I’m a qualified nurse with 14 years of international experience in London, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, and for the past 13 years I’ve been working as a staff nurse in Finland. Teaching has always been an important part of my work as a nurse, and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I have a deep understanding of my native language, Finnish, and I enjoy using creative and enjoyable methods to help others learn it. One of my personal dreams is to write and publish my own book someday. When I’m not working, I love long-distance walks and practicing yoga. I completed my medical-surgical nursing qualification 30 years ago, and throughout my career I’ve taught many nursing students — a responsibility I value greatly. My teaching style is based on positive psychology: I aim to encourage, motivate, and guide learners with constructive feedback and a supportive attitude.
