About Me
Hello, I’m Daisy. Learning Japanese has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. Although I had excellent teachers and textbooks, I soon realized that language learning isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. Every learner has their own style, pace, and motivation — and I’m passionate about helping beginners discover the approach that works best for them. I truly believe that anyone can learn Japanese with the right guidance and mindset.

My Background
I hold a First Class degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Edinburgh. During my time there, I led a peer support group for Japanese learners, helping students overcome common challenges and find more effective, personalized study methods. This experience deepened my understanding of how to make Japanese learning more accessible, engaging, and rewarding for all types of learners.

As someone who has personally experienced the difficulties of learning Japanese as a foreign language, I focus on individualized instruction for beginners.
