Hoi allemaal! I’m Debby — born and raised in the Netherlands. I live close to the German border, so I’m quite comfortable with German as well. In 2005–2006 I spent a year in Ireland as an au pair, which was an amazing experience and really boosted my English. I love connecting with new people, exploring different places, reading, yoga, painting, and trying out anything creative or new. I’d be delighted to help you learn Dutch! I’ve been teaching Dutch online for over five years now, working with both children and adults in one-on-one lessons as well as group classes. It makes me genuinely happy that you’re interested in learning Nederlands. Together, we’ll create a study plan that suits your pace, goals, and preferences. The textbooks I use provide a helpful structure and serve as guidance for homework, but during lessons I focus on getting you to speak as much as possible. Through conversation, games, music, videos, and other fun activities, we’ll find the methods that help you learn most effectively.
