About Me
Hello, I’m Eri. I’m a Japanese native who was born in the U.K., raised in Japan, and now living in the Netherlands. Japanese is my first language, and I also speak English fluently. I’m currently learning Dutch as well.

What I Teach
I provide personalized Japanese lessons tailored to your goals, from casual everyday conversation to formal and business-oriented communication. My lessons are open to all ages and proficiency levels, and beginners are always welcome.

Having worked in sales in Japan for more than seven years, I can also teach Japanese used in professional environments and explain the cultural aspects of Japanese business communication based on real experience.

Teaching Approach
I like to build lessons around topics that keep learning enjoyable and meaningful, such as travel, cooking, movies, and daily life. My focus is to help you learn natural, practical Japanese that goes beyond what textbooks can offer.

During our trial lesson, we will discuss your objectives and find the most effective way for you to learn. Together, we’ll create a plan that supports your progress and confidence.

Experience
While studying at university, I volunteered for two years teaching Japanese to international students. I also regularly teach a non-Japanese family member about the language and culture, which has given me a deeper understanding of how learners from different backgrounds approach Japanese.
