My name is Janet Shepherd and I didn’t take up fitness training myself until I was nearly fifty. Having felt so much better as a result, I’m passionate about sharing this feeling of wellbeing with others. When I was in my early 40’s if you’d told me I’d be doing marathons, triathlons and even an Ironman in my 50’s I’d have said you’d be mad, but I did and it’s a great feeling! I specialise in fitness and nutrition coaching for those over 50 and offer bespoke programmes that take your specific aims and limitations into account. These programmes usually include cardiovascular training, strength/resistance training, flexibility training and motor skills development. I also offer the option of Nordic Walking technique tuition and walks. I offer one-to-one sessions of 25 or 50 minutes at a pleasant, well equipped, private studio in the village of Sutton.

Additional Info

I offer one-to-one training sessions in my private studio. I have all the required equipment including an Inspire FT1 dual cable functional trainer, weight bench, dumbells 1 – 10 kg, elliptical trainer, concept 2 rower, TRX suspension trainer, swiss balls, boxing gloves and pads, resistance bands, mats, heart rate monitors, and Nordic walking poles.
