Moi everyone! I’m a 33-year-old native Finnish speaker with firsthand experience learning a new language as an adult. I learned Spanish without spending endless hours memorizing grammar rules, and that experience taught me how important it is to focus on real communication rather than textbook perfection. As a tutor, my main goal is to help you move forward with your speaking skills. Over time, I’ve noticed that many learners struggle specifically with puhekieli (spoken Finnish) and often lack confidence when it comes to real conversation. That’s why my lessons focus on practical, everyday communication and proven techniques that train your brain to think in Finnish — the key to speaking naturally and fluently. One of the most valuable lessons from my own language journey is this: listening closely to how native speakers express themselves is far more powerful than most people realize. I work with intermediate and advanced learners who feel stuck, hesitant, or frustrated with their speaking progress.
