Hi! I’m Natalie — it’s great to meet you. Although I was born in the UK, I spent most of my life in the Netherlands, so English and Dutch both feel like home to me. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me diving into History books or exploring new places to experience different cultures firsthand. My tutoring journey began back in high school, where I quickly realized how much I enjoyed helping others succeed. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone grow more confident in their abilities. I started out by supporting classmates and, more recently, I helped my dad prepare for his citizenship exam — and I’m proud to say he passed! Since I’m currently learning Malay, I understand that starting a new language can be exciting but also a little intimidating. That’s why I focus on making my lessons engaging, approachable, and effective. I love incorporating real-life situations, cultural context, and a touch of humor to keep students motivated.
