Assalāmu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh!
My name is Qari Mohabat, and Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah ﷻ, I have been teaching the Qur’an and Islamic studies for over 25 years. Since 1990, I have had the honor of teaching more than 1,500 students across the UK and worldwide — both in-person and online.

I began my Qur’anic and Islamic education under qualified Shuyukh in the UK, then continued my studies in Pakistan, where I spent five years completing Hifz al-Qur’an, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies. In 2002, I also obtained an Adult Teaching Qualification to teach at college and higher education levels.

Subjects I Teach

• Qaida with Tajweed: Focusing on correct pronunciation (makhārij) and articulation of every Arabic letter.

• Qur’an Recitation: Implementing Tajweed rules with clarity and beauty, including mashq (practice) for fluency and confidence.

• Hifz (Memorization): Personalized memorization plans suited to each student’s pace and ability, with full guidance and motivation.

• Islamic Studies: Covering Aqeedah, Fiqh, Islamic History, and Character Building.

All lessons are available in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, making it accessible for students from various backgrounds. My approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and consistency, helping students see noticeable improvement in just a few sessions, Insha’Allah.

I use tried and trusted resources such as Yassarnal Qur’an (Qaida) and Love for Qur’an (Tajweed) PDFs, along with multiple Qur’an fonts and formats for easier reading.
