Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Toshiki, and I’m based in Yokohama, Japan. I spent seven years living in Canada, which allows me to bring both an international perspective and native-level Japanese fluency to my lessons.

Born and raised in Japan, I have professional experience working in Japanese companies. I began learning English independently at 19 and have also been studying Russian for several years, so I fully understand the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting my students every step of the way.

📚 Experience

I’ve been teaching Japanese on Preply since 2019 and have worked with more than 450 students aged 8 to 65 from all over the world. To date, I’ve conducted over 8,000 lessons, helping learners of all levels reach their Japanese goals.

Through this experience, I’ve developed a highly adaptable and personalized teaching style that matches each student’s needs, pace, and learning preferences.
