Hello and welcome! I’m delighted that you’re interested in improving your Danish speaking skills. For the past three years, I’ve been teaching Danish online at coLanguage, but my teaching experience stretches far beyond language instruction. With more than 25 years as a church organist, choir leader, and piano teacher, I’ve spent most of my life helping people learn, listen, and express themselves—skills that influence my approach to language teaching every day. My background in music has given me a unique perspective on language learning. Just like music, Danish has rhythm, melody, and patterns. Working with choirs—both children and adults—and guiding piano students has strengthened my ability to help learners feel comfortable, supported, and confident. I bring that same patience, structure, and creativity into my Danish lessons. I’ve also completed an intensive online Dutch course myself, so I know firsthand how effective online language learning can be. When you speak a lot from the very beginning, you progress quickly—and your level becomes the foundation we build on together.
